Ontario Human Rights

The Ontario Human Rights Commission is a tribunal system set up to deal with claims alleging the infringement of basic human rights.

Generally, pursuant to section 5 of the Ontario Human Rights Code everyone has a right to be free of discrimination based on, race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, record of offences, marital status, family status or disability.

If you have experienced discrimination under any of the above mentioned categories it`s important to seek legal advice.
